Vincent Deschamps, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board

Vincent Deschamps provides overall direction and operational leadership for the company. Vin is a proven manager with rich sales and marketing experience, and has excelled at several of America's leading telecommunications and hosted services companies over his career.

Prior to Echopass, Vin was vice president of sales for AccessLine, where he led that company's successful efforts in the hosted mobility services market, most notably developing a key relationship with Hewlett-Packard. Previously he served as general manager/vice president for Avaya's worldwide Unified Communications line of business where he developed the business strategy, go-to-market plan, and sales efforts for Avaya's market-leading Unified Messaging product line. Vin holds a B.A. in marketing and economics from C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University, New York.

Brian O'Connell, Executive Vice President and Chief Quality Officer

Brian O’Connell is responsible for quality initiatives across all areas of Echopass. Brian is a veteran technology and management executive with deep experience in the Fortune 500 enterprise market. Prior to joining Echopass, Brian was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer and a member of the Executive Leadership Team for The Hartford. Previously, he spent 25 years at Accenture where he was both a Managing Director and Partner.

Brian earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Boston College. He serves on the board of directors of ACORD (Association for Cooperative Operations Research and Development) a standards organization for the Insurance industry, as well as the Boston College Technology Council.

Rob Farris, Chief Marketing Officer

Rob Farris is responsible for all marketing activities at Echopass. Rob has extensive experience within the contact center and technology industry, having held executive roles at well known companies including Adomo, WebEx, Octel and Rolm.

Prior to joining Echopass, Rob was the Principal at UpScale Consulting, following his roles as VP of Worldwide Sales at Adomo, WebEx Communications and Storage Way. Earlier in his career, he served as the VP and General Manager of US Field Operations at Octel and Lucent Technologies, as well as having been a founder or principal in seven technology start-ups. Rob holds a B.A. in communications from the University of Miami.

Marnie Nuttall, Chief Financial Officer

Marnie Nuttall is responsible for all finance, accounting and other corporate services at Echopass. Marnie is a licensed CPA with over 15 years experience in accounting and finance. Previously she served 10 years with Assist Cornerstone Technologies, Inc., in various finance and accounting roles including Director, Finance and Administration and CFO. Assist Cornerstone Technologies, a company offering end to end, cross channel, real time enterprise solutions for companies selling their products to end users, was acquired by Titan Corporation in 1999. Marnie then served as Director, Finance for Cayenta, Inc.,the commerce solutions division of Titan Corporation, after acquisition. She also has served as Director, Finance for Axis41, a marketing communications company in Salt Lake City. Marnie holds a B.S. in accounting from Westminster College as well as a Masters of Accountancy from University of Utah.

Sophia Schaefer, Chief People Officer

Sophia Schaefer is responsible for the People Strategy at Echopass.  She has over 25 years experience in human resources leadership roles with numerous high tech companies, most recently directing the US and EMEA human resources operations for Hitachi Global Storage Technologies. Previously, Sophia held significant human resources positions with companies including CBS Interactive, Microsoft, Symantec, Octel/Lucent Technologies and Combustion Engineering. Throughout her career, she has built and led strong teams focused on organizational design, employee/management development and talent acquisition strategy and implementation.

Sophia did her undergraduate studies at Loyola University, Chicago and earned professional certifications in Human Resource Management from the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Michigan.

Dennis Empey, Senior Vice President, Platform Development and Operations

Dennis Empey is responsible for Echopass' service delivery platform and is the senior product strategist, setting direction for all Echopass platforms, products and services. His 20 years of product management and marketing experience includes tenure as vice president and general manager for Argogroup and key management roles with Lucent Technologies' Service Provider Messaging division including responsibility for all international markets.

Earlier in his career, Dennis also was responsible for advanced network services products as a senior marketing and product manager at MFS Intelenet; and managed enterprise ACD products and services at Nortel. He holds a B.S. in management from Golden Gate University.

David Tso, Senior Vice President, Product and Strategy

David Tso is responsible for Echopass product management, business strategy, and vendor partner relationships. He brings a broad range of domestic and international experience in business development and strategy with start-ups to billion dollar high technology businesses.

Prior to Echopass, David was Senior Director, Market and Business Development for Avaya, where he led alliances, strategic partnerships, and mergers and acquisitions. Previously he was Senior Director of Corporate Strategy and Technology and Director of Business Development for contact center and unified communications. Before Avaya, David held executive positions in product management, marketing, and operations management with Octel, Lucent Technologies, and venture companies in China, Thailand, and Brazil. David holds a M.S. in engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Larry Deering, Senior Vice President, Client Sales

Larry Deering brings over 35 years of telecommunications industry sales and management experience to his role as Echopass' key Customer Sales Executive. His resume includes respected companies such as AccessLine, Autonomy/e-Talk, Aspect Communications, Octel Communications and ITT.

Larry's contributions in customer development and new product/service expansion have proved invaluable to Echopass customers. Larry holds a B.S. in industrial management from Purdue University.

Lee Kayne, Senior Vice President, Enterprise Sales

Lee Kayne is responsible for leading the Echopass enterprise sales organization and expanding Echopass’ presence in the marketplace. He has over 20 years of successful sales leadership experience in software technology solutions and the customer contact center industry. Prior to Echopass, Lee led the National Account Technology Sales Team at Convergys/Intervoice. Previously, he ran the eastern region of Infor Global Solutions CRM practice and spent over a decade building global account teams at Davox, Concerto and Aspect Software. Earlier, Lee sold contact center solutions for ROLM, IBM and Siemens.

Lee holds a B.A. in business administration and an MBA in finance and marketing from The University of Florida.

Karl Holzthum, Senior Vice President, Partners and Alliances

Karl Holzthum is responsible for the worldwide Echopass Partner and Alliance strategy and execution. Karl brings his broad and diverse background to Echopass, spanning direct and indirect sales and general management experience both internationally and domestically. Most recently, Karl was CEO of cloud based contact center provider Nexxphase. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Channels and Alliances at Genesys Labs, helping drive their aggressive growth. Earlier in his career, Karl held executive positions with companies including Stream International, Teletech Europe and Sun Microsystems.

Karl has a B.S. in finance from Susquehanna University.

Derek Burdick, Vice President, Engineering

Derek Burdick is responsible for all Echopass engineering including platform engineering, development, provisioning and architecture, working closely with the product management and operations organizations. A Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Derek has held senior positions in the development, network infrastructure and operations groups, and has developed numerous custom CTI solutions and Genesys integrations during his seven year tenure at Echopass.

Before joining Echopass, Derek worked in the network engineering department at Sento Corporation. Previously, he worked at Techserv in their technical support organization.

Doug Kentner, Vice President, Service Quality

Doug Kentner is responsible for ensuring operational service quality across engineering, operations and support. In his previous tenure with Echopass, Doug has also worked in operations, systems administration, service provisioning, solutions engineering and Telecom engineering.

Prior to Echopass, Doug worked within the IT and contact center industries including serving as General Partner of a California based IT consulting firm, providing technical leadership within the Microsoft Product Support group at Convergys, and coordinating critical problem resolution for Cisco’s data security products. Fluent in Italian from studying abroad and attending BYU, Doug has also achieved a number of IT professional certifications in his career including Cisco CCNA and Microsoft Certified Trainer and Systems Engineer accreditations..

PW Tucker, Vice President, Operations

PW Tucker is responsible for all network operations and service delivery from the Echopass SAS70 certified network operations center. Prior to Echopass, he spent ten years managing data center infrastructure and operations for Software as a Service companies including IBM, AdvancedMD Software and eBay. PW managed the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Delivery processes for each of these organizations, and at IBM was responsible for 11 individual data center environments across the continental United States supporting numerous Fortune 500 companies.

PW received his B.S degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix and speaks Mandarin Chinese.

Gordon Campbell, Vice President, Professional Services

Gordon Campbell is responsible for all Echopass Implementation and Professional Services, Training, and Sales Engineering. Previously, Gordon was the director of the Packaged Solutions Group at Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories where he conceived and led the initial product rollout for Genesys Express. During his seven years at Genesys, Gordon also served as director of professional services and director of engineering.

Earlier management positions included a senior consulting role with IBM's call center consulting group and vice president, product development for a software startup. Gordon earned a degree in computer science from Seneca College, and a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Toronto.

Klasey Gage, Vice President, Client Engagement and Services

Klasey Gage is responsible for managing all elements of customer service and satisfaction for the entire base of Echopass customers. A member of the Echopass management team since 2000, Klasey has held a variety of customer relationship roles in both the customer service and support departments.

Prior to Echopass, Klasey worked at Sento Corporation within their operations organization. He was responsible for National Accounts, managing a client roster including Network Associates, Gateway and McAfee.

Advisors

Bruce Dresser, Marketing – Bruce Dresser is the president of Tenth Dot Solutions Marketing Consulting, a firm for high-tech clients he founded in 1997. Bruce previously had a 15 year corporate career with executive roles in marketing, sales, strategy, and product development for AT&T and Sybase as well as several mid-size companies and start-ups. He is an advisor to Echopass on marketing after serving as the company's Chief Marketing Officer from 2005 - 2010.

Bruce holds a B.A. from UCLA, an MBA from San Diego State University, and is an executive marketing program alumnus of the Kellogg School at Northwestern University. He has been an advisor and board member to numerous companies and non-profits.

Neil Hennessey, Carrier Services and Infrastructure – Neil Hennessey is the principal of Hennessey Consulting, specializing in Telecom, information management and related cost reductions in these areas for large enterprises. His broad career experience includes application development, systems programming, operations and infrastructure management as well as extensive knowledge of integrating equipment and services brought about by merger and acquisition activity. He is an advisor to Echopass on carrier services and infrastructure.

Neil was previously the Vice President of IT at PeopleSoft and an executive for over 20 years with Reader’s Digest. He received his B.S. degree in marketing and industrial production from Marquette University.

Jerry Shrair, Founder and CEO, Boiling Point – Under the leadership of Founder and CEO Jerry Shrair, Boiling Point celebrates 16 years of inspiring Fortune 500 business teams to align and to create powerful solutions with the commitment needed to execute them successfully.

Jerry first began to craft his unique collaborative approach to inspiring business teams as an Account Director on the Pepsi-Cola business at BBDO New York and later at Pepsi as their first Director of Creative Development. As Managing Director at Marketing Corporation of America he continued to inspire innovative marketing and branding solutions for a variety of clients. Jerry holds a B.A. in Marketing from New York University.
