Background

Echopass was an early leader in the field of on-demand IP-based contact center services, starting in 1998 as the internal technology infrastructure for a public company in the outsourcing business in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 2000, Echopass was spun-out as an independent company funded by Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories (a division of Lucent-Alcatel), and two venture capital firms - Canaan Partners and New Enterprise Associates. The company is headquartered in Pleasanton, CA, and maintains its Network Operations Center in Salt Lake City UT, with datacenters located in Salt Lake City, Ashburn VA and Irvine CA.
