Background Echopass was an early leader in the field of on-demand IP-based contact center services, starting in 1998 as the internal technology infrastructure for a public company in the outsourcing business in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 2000, Echopass was spun-out as an independent company funded by Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories (a division of Alcatel), and two venture capital firms - Canaan Partners and New Enterprise Associates, both of whom have continued to invest in Echopass.

Echopass received the Red Herring Top 100 Private Company award in 2004, and moved to larger facilities in the Silicon Valley during 2005. The company is headquartered in Pleasanton, CA, and maintains its Network Operations Center in Salt Lake City.
On-Demand Services Through its EchoSystem Service Integration Platform, Echopass provides customized advanced call and contact center solutions (voice, email, chat and fax) for enterprise and government customers. The EchoSystem comprises Echopass call center, services and consulting with a network of partner components including routing and Telco network infrastructure, customer relationship management and other related components such as interactive voice response, in a single-sourced, complete, on-demand solution – integrated and managed end to end for our customers by Echopass.

The EchoSystem is both a compelling and affordable alternative to inflexible hardware-based call centers or other systems that require extensive development, maintenance and system integration.
