Vincent Deschamps

Vincent Deschamps, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board

As CEO and Chairman of the Board, Vincent Deschamps leads Echopass' management team and oversees all the company's business operations.

Deschamps brings to Echopass a successful background and proven track record as a sales, marketing, and business executive in the communications industry. His career includes roles as vice president of sales and marketing organizations for five publicly traded companies, including AccessLine, VMX, Octel Communications, Lucent, and Avaya.

As vice president of Sales for AccessLine, Deschamps led the company's successful sales efforts in the hosted mobility services market and developed key relationships within Hewlett-Packard. As general manager/vice president for Avaya's worldwide Unified Communications line of business, Deschamps led Avaya's relationships with industry leaders Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Compaq, and IBM. He also developed the business strategy, go-to market plans, and sales efforts for Avaya's market-leading Unified Messaging products. Mr. Deschamps earned a BA degree in Marketing and Economics from CW Post College.

 
Terri Brown

Terri Brown, Chief Marketing Officer

As CMO, Terri Brown works with the CEO and CTO to develop corporate strategy. It is then her responsibility as corporate spokesperson to articulate that strategy to numerous audiences, including investors, customers, the media, and employees. Brown is responsible for all the tactical aspects of marketing, including product, price, promotion, and distribution as well as for business development.

Brown has 20 years experience in high tech marketing, strategy, and business development. Prior to Echopass, she was chief market development officer and founding vice president of Marketing at NUASIS Corporation, where she helped the company secure $50 million in venture funding.

Brown has held senior positions at Lucent Technologies and Octel Communications, where, as director of Worldwide Strategic Planning, she represented the company as expert witness before the U.S. Department of Justice in their challenge of the acquisition by Lucent Technologies. Brown began her career in product management at Hewlett-Packard and Aspect Telecommunications. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University and an MBA from San Jose State University.

 

Richard LaBarbera, Chief Operations and Services Officer

As Chief Operations and Services Officer, Rich LaBarbera has overall responsibility for the delivery of customer and professional services for all Echopass customers. Previously he was President of Niku Corporation, provider of IT Portfolio Management and Corporate Governance applications to the world's largest companies. Prior to Niku, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager for Sybase's Enterprise Solutions Division where he had direct responsibility for Product Development (Enterprise Database, Middleware and Enterprise Portals), Worldwide Sales, Support, Education and all Global Professional Services functions at Sybase.

His experience in enterprise solutions includes such companies as IBM, Storage Technology, Siemens/Siemens Pyramid, Octel Communications and Amdahl where he held the position of Vice President Worldwide Services, including support, education and consulting services. Mr. LaBarbera is an advisor/executive consultant to numerous technology companies including Xinify, Value Stream Group, and Front Range Solutions. Mr. LaBarbera earned an MBA from Georgia State University.

 
William Grosso

William Grosso, Vice President, Engineering

As Vice President, Engineering, William Grosso is responsible for guiding the engineering of leading-edge products and services and serves as Core Architect. He plays an active role in representing the company to its partners, customers, prospects and industry analysts.

Grosso has authored several books, including Java RMI and Java Enterprise Best Practices and many journal and magazine articles. He has held various executive engineering positions at Silicon Valley companies, including Broad Horizon, Seruku and Hipbone, where he served as its Chief Architect. Prior to joining Hipbone, Grosso worked at Stanford University, where he helped design and build the infrastructure for a distributed knowledge-based system.

In addition to being a published author, Grosso is active in the software development community, most prominently as a board member of the Software Development Forum. He holds a Masters degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley and a BS degree in Mathematics and Economics from State University of New York at Stony Brook.

 
Clint Peck

Clint Peck, Vice President, Operations

As Vice President, Operations, Clint Peck is responsible for the delivery of on demand services for all Echopass customers 24x7x365. In his position, he is directly responsible for all of the engineering and network systems administrators and best of class systems of the world renown data and operations center in Salt Lake City.

Peck has been with Echopass since 2000 in a number of senior technical and managemenet capacities. His career includes six years working experience in Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) including technical expertise with all Genesys product suites. He brings to Echopass extensive experience in systems design, architecture, networks, telephony and switching and CRM applications. Peck also held technical positions with Sento Corporation and Spire Technologies. He earned an Associate of Science degree from Utah Valley State College. He is a Genesys Certified Engineer, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Engineer and Citrix Certified Administrator.

 
Larry Deering

Larry Deering, Vice President, Sales, Enterprises

As vice president, Enterprise Sales, Larry Deering has overall responsibility sales to mid-market and large enterprises.

Deering will draw on more than 35 years in the telecommunications industry in sales and management to lead the Echopass enterprise sales team. Deering has been engaged in building customer relationships and addressing new enterprise market opportunities in senior-level sales management positions with a number of industry-leading companies, including AccessLine, e-Talk, Aspect Communications, Octel Communications, and ITT. Mr. Deering holds a BS degree in Industrial Management from Purdue University.

 
Gordon Campbell

Gordon Campbell, Vice President, Professional Services

As vice president, Professional Services, Gordon Campbell is responsible for managing the company's service organizations, including Implementation Services, Professional Services, and Training, as well as its Sales Engineering group.

Campbell has over 18 years of professional services and product development experience in the software industry with a primary focus in the last ten years on contact center technology. Prior to joining Echopass, Campbell was the director of the Packaged Solutions Group at Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories. There, he conceived of the product line Genesys Express, which was targeted for mid-sized businesses, and led the team that delivered the first release of that product line to market. During his seven years at Genesys, he also served as director of Professional Services and director of Engineering.

Campbell's previous positions include a senior consulting role with IBM's call center consulting group and a position as vice president, Product Development for a software startup. He began his career in the financial services industry designing branch banking systems and holds a degree in Computer Science from Seneca College and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Toronto.

 
Jodi Carlson

Jodi Carlson, Vice President, Finance

As vice president, Finance, Jodi Carlson has overall responsibility for the finance, accounting, human resources and administrative activities at Echopass.

Carlson has 11 years in public accounting and over 10 years in private accounting and management roles. Prior to joining Echopass, Carlson was general manager of a Monster.com subsidiary, where she was responsible for business strategy development, budgeting, product launch, sales, and operations. During her tenure, she oversaw the business activities that returned a profit for the first time in company history.

Previous to Monster.com, Carlson held various accounting management positions with both private and public companies. In those roles, she was responsible for cash management, budgeting, business plan development, and financing. Carlson brings to Echopass a strong foundation of business management skills complemented by her technical accounting background developed while working with Coopers and Lybrand and other public accounting firms. She earned her BS in Business Management at Westminster College.
